Phonezap for Wabash Valley Hunger Strikers in the SHU

MAKE THE LINES RING ALL DAY! FRIDAY, AUG 31, sunrise to sunset!

(IWOC) - Several inmates in the Secure Housing Unit (SHU) at Wabash Valley Correctional Facility are initiating a hunger strike in protest of their already starvation-level meal portions, their lack of access to basic necessities like adequate clothing, and access to commissary items . Food portions are extremely small, imagine a high school lunch tray where the section for your main course isn't even half full. The food they receive is already lacking in nutrition and comes in boxes labelled "not for human consumption." Food services in the IDOC are managed by the private corporation Aramark, and food served to inmates lacks basic nutritional value and is often served rotten. To make matters worse, Corrections Officers are known to contaminate food with saliva and feces.

In fact, current proponents of the South African ‘white genocide’ narrative lie at the intersection of international alt-right and white supremacist networks.

Two-Thirds of Americans Live in the 'Constitution-Free Zone'

Recent Greyhound bus raids have revealed an obscure law that gives Border Patrol authority 100 miles inside borders, across the entire perimeter of the country

Americans living within 100 miles of a U.S. border live in "Constitution-free zones," according to civil liberties advocates, where border patrol agents can search any vehicle without a warrant.

(CD) - In Hartford, Vermont, last year, U.S. Border Patrol agents boarded a Greyhound bus as it arrived from Boston, asking passengers about their citizenship and checking the IDs of people of color or those with accents. In January, they stopped a man in Indio, California, as he was boarding a Los Angeles-bound bus. In questioning him about his immigration status, they told him his “shoes looked suspicious,” like those of someone who had recently crossed the border.

Illinois Nazi Wins GOP Primary for Congress

(BoingBoing) - The Illinois Republican Party was unable to draft a candidate against Holocaust denier Arthur Jones, and now he's won the Republican primary in Illinois' Third Congressional District. Jones is a former member of the American Nazi Party and, as a student at the University of Wisconsin, founded a conservative newspaper and was active in the Young Republicans and a Nationalist Socialist student group. The good news is that the Third Congressional District is heavily Democratic, but in these crazy times of Russian meddling and the refusal of the White House to disavow American Nazis, there's no telling who will win.
